Thoughts

We've known Penny and family for over 20 years as friends and neighbours. Only a few months ago she came across to see us to say how sad she was that we had lost our beautiful labrador Quincy. She could barely hold back the tears. She loved him so much. God bless you dear Penny....Derek and Joanne...xx

I met dear Penny through a mutual friend in Wickham Bishops over 30years ago. Our children were very young and going to the same local nursery school. This is when I started to cut Lucy and Sam's hair. I then progressed to Colin and Penny's hair. Penny had great joy showing me her lovely Guinea pigs ( very cute), she loved them as she did her dogs. Penny always had a good listening ear, and to me, she was always patient and kind. Penny would find vouchers for us so we could visit Spa's and have treatments. We enjoyed them so much. I remember one visit after a relaxing treatment (we were in our swim ware and gowns), Penny lost the locker key, and we imagined we would be going home with very little on! After it seemed a long time looking, we found the key tucked up under the chairs we had been sitting on. What a relief, we did laugh 😃. My regret is I had been looking forward to spring and summer to walk our dogs Margo and Bella, I'd have been recovering a Hip Replacement and hadn't been able to do so for such a long time! It's good to walk and talk! It's fun, though, slightly disconcerting watching Margo disappear and then suddenly galloping towards us at great speed! Penny absolutely loved having her hair done. I will miss doing it so much. Penny was such a lovely friend to know. My love and thoughts are with Colin, Lucy, Sam and all 3 dogs . Your friend always Sarah and Family

From Jane Maxim Oh my dear friend Penny I just don't know what to say The precious times we shared at our work and play will be treasured memories all my days. Your sweet nature and your caring ways were echoed by the love and compassion for rescue dogs. I'm sure God wanted you for your goodness so took you away, but your memory will always stay ..... My love and thoughts go out to your family. I have to accept that my beautiful fellow Aquarian won't text me again while ironing to Sounds of the 70s. BE AT PEACE MY LOVELY Jane xxx
